Motorcyclist Dies after Rear-Ending Truck on Katy Freeway in Houston

Rider Killed in Houston Motorcycle Accident on Katy Freeway near TC Jester Boulevard

Houston, Texas (July 5, 2023) – A motorcyclist was killed after crashing into the back of a truck early Wednesday morning in Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.

The deadly crash occurred shortly before 1:30 a.m. in the outbound lanes near TC Jester Boulevard.

Witnesses told the authorities the speeding motorcyclist was weaving in and out of traffic when he rear-ended the truck.

The impact of the collision pushed the truck into the shoulder, causing this damage on the front end.

The rider died in the crash. The occupants of the truck were not injured.

Houston Police Department is investigating the crash.
