Motorcyclist Killed in Crash at U.S. 181 and Standish Street in Floresville

One Killed in Floresville Motorcycle Crash at U.S. 181 and Standish Street

Floresville, Texas (September 13, 2022) – According to a local news source, a motorcyclist was killed Monday evening in a crash in Floresville.

The fatal crash happened just after 5:00 p.m., September 12, at the intersection of U.S. 181 and Standish Street.

According to the report, the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Standish and was trying to beat the traffic light on U.S. 181. 

The motorcycle then hit a white Ford Escape that was starting to turn right from U.S. 181 onto Standish and caught fire.

The motorcyclist was taken to Connally Memorial Medical Center in Floresville, where they were pronounced on arrival. Their identity has not been released.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
