Motorcyclist Killed in Possible Street Racing Crash on N. Sam Houston Pkwy in Northeast Harris County

One Killed in Northeast Harris County Motorcycle Accident on N. Sam Houston Parkway near Mesa

Harris County, Texas (April 18, 2020) – A motorcyclist was killed on Friday in an apparent street racing crash in northeast Harris County, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash happened on Friday, April 17, on the westbound feeder road of 8233 North Sam Houston Pkwy near Wilson and Mesa.

Deputies said a motorcyclist was racing with a white Dodge Charger on the feeder road. A truck was exiting a parking lot into the feeder road when it struck the motorcyclist.

The motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene.

The driver of the Charger fled the scene, and the deputies are searching for the suspect.

The truck driver stayed at the scene after the accident.

The crash remains under investigation.
