Rider Dies in Lewisville Motorcycle Accident on State Highway 121 near Oakwood Lane

Lewisville, Texas (July 14, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed early Saturday morning in a traffic collision in Lewisville, according to a local news source.

The fatal accident happened at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday, July 13 on State Highway 121 near Oakwood Lane.

As per the report, the motorcyclist was hit by a vehicle for unknown reasons on State Highway 121. The force of the impact ejected the rider from the bike.

Police officers along with the paramedics responded to the scene and they performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the rider.

Despite aggressive lifesaving measures, the motorcyclist was pronounced at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been released pending family notification.

It is undetermined if alcohol or speed were factors in the collision.

The crash remains under investigation.
