Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Crash on FM 1788 in Midland

One Seriously Injured in Midland Motorcycle Crash on FM 1788 near Loop 40

Midland, Texas – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Thursday evening in a crash in Midland near Midland International Air and Space Port, according to the police.

The crash happened around 6:55 p.m., February 8, on FM 1788 near Loop 40.

Police said a Hyundai Santa Fe was traveling southbound in the turn lane of the highway while a 2021 Ducati was traveling northbound in the outside lane. The Hyundai attempted to turn and collided with the Ducati.

The motorcyclist was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.

The Hyundai driver was released at the scene pending further investigation.

The crash remains under investigation.
