Multiple Injured in Hartley County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 87

Hartley County, Texas (March 8, 2022) – Multiple people were injured Friday afternoon in a DWI crash in Hartley County, according to the deputies.

The crash happened on March 4, on Highway 87 near Hartley.

Deputies said a black Nissan car made a U-turn from the westbound shoulder of the highway and was hit by an eastbound SUV.

The Nissan driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. He was intoxicated at the time of the crash.

The occupants of the SUV sustained minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
