Officer Injured in San Antonio SAPD Van Crash near S. Flores Street and Genevieve Street

 San Antonio, Texas (January 6, 2020) – An officer was injured early Sunday morning in a traffic accident involving another officer in San Antonio, according to a local news source.

The crash happened on Sunday, January 5, near S. Flores and Genevieve streets.

Police said an officer was making a U-turn near the intersection when they were hit by an oncoming SAPD van, which had a prisoner inside. 

The officer, who was making the U-turn, sustained minor arm and head injuries.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
