One Killed in Houston Motorcycle Accident at Westheimer and Stanford Street
Houston, Texas (February 15, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed Thursday afternoon in a traffic collision at a Montrose intersection, according to a local news release.
The deadly accident occurred at about 5:30 p.m. February 14, in the area of Westheimer and Stanford Street.
Officials said a man was riding a motorcycle when he struck the passenger side of an SUV which was turning left at the intersection.
The rider was taken to the hospital where he later died. His name was not immediately disclosed.
Westheimer Road was closed following the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
