League City Officer Injured in FM Road 646 Accident at West Walker Street

League City, Texas (July 21, 2019) – A League City police officer was injured early Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash in League City, a local news source reported.

The wreck, which was reported at around 1:30 a.m., happened on FM Road 646 at West Walker Street.

As per the report, the officer slammed into a Corvette.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and extricated both the officer and the Corvette driver from the wrecked vehicles.

The officer sustained non-life threatening injuries and was airlifted to a hospital. The driver of the Corvette also had non-life threatening injuries.

Their names and conditions at this time were not disclosed.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the cause of the crash.
