Officer Hospitalized after Liberty Hill Hit-and-Run Accident at Hwy 29 and CR 200
Liberty Hill, Texas (May 23, 2019) – A Liberty Hill police officer was injured in an alleged hit-and-run accident Tuesday night, according to the authorities.
The accident occurred on Tuesday, May 21, at the intersection of Hwy 29 and CR 200.
Police said the officer had stopped a group of bikers who were riding recklessly when one of the bikers hit him.
The suspect then fled the scene.
The officer was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Three of the bikers were taken into custody.
The authorities are looking for the suspect who was described as a white man between 18 to 25 years old. He was riding a black sports bike with a bent license plate and had a white helmet with a black visor on.
An investigation is underway.
