Onezimo Romo Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on I-35 in San Antonio

44-Year-Old Onezimo Romo Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 35

San Antonio, Texas (March 10, 2020) – A man was killed early Tuesday morning in a hit-and-run crash in San Antonio, according to the San Antonio police.

The accident happened on Interstate 35.

Police said a patrol officer found the body of Onezimo Romo, 44, of San Antonio, lying in a drainage culvert on the access road of I-35 between Binz Engleman Road and George Beach around 2:00 a.m.

Officers believe Romo might have been hit by a northbound vehicle, which then fled the scene.

The SAPD is looking for the suspect, who, if located, will face a charge of failure to stop and render aid, resulting in a death.

The police are investigating the crash.
