Oscar Castellano Struck, Killed by Vehicle on Broadway in San Antonio

Oscar Castellano ID’d as Man Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Broadway near Eleanor Avenue

San Antonio, Texas (April 15, 2022) – The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man who died after being hit by a vehicle Monday night in San Antonio as 51-year-old Oscar Castellano.

The tragic accident happened shortly before 9:00 p.m. on April 11 in the 3100 block of Broadway, near Eleanor Avenue.

According to police, Castellano was crossing the roadway near a crosswalk when he was hit by a Chevrolet Cruz that was traveling northbound on Broadway.

Castellano was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver involved fled the scene.

No further details were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
