Man Hospitalized after Austin Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 35

Austin, Texas (August 1, 2019) – A man was hit and injured by a vehicle early Thursday morning in Austin, police said.

The accident happened in the 7500 block of Interstate 35.

According to the police, the man was struck by one of their crime scene vehicles on Interstate 35.

Police said the man was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with possibly life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle involved, who was not injured, stopped at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

No other details were immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
