Pedro Martinez Jr. ID’d as Person Killed in Lubbock Crash at 50th and Avenue Q
Lubbock, Texas (April 20, 2019) – The person who was killed Friday afternoon in a traffic accident in Lubbock has been identified as Pedro Martinez Jr., 61, according to authorities.
The tragic crash took place just before 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 19 in the United Supermarkets parking lot at 50th and Avenue Q.
Authorities said the collision involved two vehicles. Details on how the two cars collided were not immediately available.
Martinez Jr. was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later declared dead at the hospital.
Two other people were transported to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
