Pilot Injured in Manvel Plane Crash near Oil Field Road

Manvel, Texas (December 11, 2020) – A pilot was injured in a plane crash Thursday afternoon in Manvel, according to DPS.

The crash happened around 2:00 p.m., on December 10, on a field near Oil Field Road.

FAA said the single-engine Luscombe 8A was landing at Wolfe Air Park when it struck a power line and crashed.

The pilot sustained injuries in the crash. Their condition was not released.

No other details were available.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
