1 Injured in Semi-Truck Crash on I-10 in El Paso

One Injured in El Paso Semi-Truck Crash on Interstate 10

El Paso, Texas – One person was injured on Saturday in a crash involving a Texas Department of Public Safety (TX DPS) patrol vehicle in El Paso, according to officials.

The crash was reported around 12:30 a.m., January 6, on Interstate 10 East and Executive Center Boulevard near mile marker 17 eastbound.

Officials said a truck tractor semi-trailer collided with the TX DPS patrol unit on the interstate.

The troopers in the vehicle were uninjured in the crash.

The driver of the semi sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The crash closed I-10 East for several hours.

No further information was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
