Motorcyclist Hurt in Crash with Vehicle on William Cannon Drive near Brodie Lane in Austin

Person Hospitalized after Austin Motorcycle Crash on William Cannon Drive

Austin, Texas (January 9, 2019)  – A rider was hospitalized with major injuries after a collision involving a vehicle on Tuesday afternoon in South Austin.
According to a report by the Austin Police Department, the crash occurred at around 2:50 p.m. January 8 in the 3400 block of William Cannon Drive near Brodie Lane.
It’s unclear how the vehicles collided.
Police said the male rider was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
The crash caused a closure of the eastbound lanes of William Cannon Drive as the scene was examined and cleared.
Austin police are investigating the incident.
