One Killed in East Austin Pedestrian Accident at Oak Springs and Airport

Austin, Texas (October 13, 2023) – According to officials, a person was killed Thursday morning in a pedestrian accident in East Austin.

The deadly accident happened around 6:24 a.m., October 12, at the intersection of Oak Springs and Airport.

Officials said a person was struck by a vehicle at the intersection.

The adult victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

The involved driver remained at the scene and was not intoxicated.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
