Plautila Aguirre Killed After Car Crashes into Garland Apartment on Fieldcrest at Jupiter Road

Garland, Texas – A 71-year-old woman was killed Tuesday morning after a car crashed into her apartment in Garland, according to the police.

The fatal crash occurred around 9:20 a.m., January 23, on Fieldcrest at Jupiter Road.

Police said a maroon Buick LeSabre was traveling eastbound when the driver reportedly had a medical episode and crashed into a Nissan Altima. The Buick then continued and it crashed into an apartment complex on N. Jupiter Road.

71-year-old Plautila Aguirre was inside the apartment at the time and was struck by the Buick. She was taken to the hospital where she died from her injuries.

The Buick driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver cooperated with the investigators.

The police are investigating the crash.
