Risean Deontay Lee Green Killed in Austin Motorcycle Accident on E. Ben White Boulevard; Amanda Overman Arrested

Austin, Texas (November 27, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed in a suspected DUI crash Sunday evening in Austin, a local news source reported.

The fatal crash happened on Sunday, November 24, in the 1100 block of E. Ben White Boulevard.

Police said Amanda Overman, 30, of Austin, was driving a maroon 2003 Honda CR-V westbound when she lost control of her vehicle and hit the median.

The Honda then ricocheted back into the roadway and hit Risean Deontay Lee Green, who was riding a 2009 Yamaha motorcycle.

Green was taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with life-threatening injuries where he later died.

Overman pulled into a shopping center after the crash and called the police. She was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter.

The crash remains under investigation.
