Teen Riding Dirt Bike Killed in Crash with Vehicle on Barberry Drive in Houston

45-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Dirt Bike Accident on Barberry Drive

Houston, Texas (May 31, 2022) – A dirt bike rider died after being involved in an accident Sunday night in Houston, authorities said.

The deadly crash happened at around 7:30 p.m. on May 29 in the 414 block of Barberry Drive.

According to the authorities, a 45-year-old man was riding a black dirt bike westbound on Barberry Drive when he lost control of the motorcycle and hit a gray Cadillac CTS parked on the south side of the street.

The man was thrown off the bike upon the impact and died at the scene. His name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

No further details about the collision were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
