Ruby Martinez Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Loop 410 near Cherry Ridge
San Antonio, Texas (April 6, 2019) – A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle early Saturday morning in San Antonio, a local news source reported.
The deadly accident occurred at about 3:30 a.m. on Loop 410 near Cherry Ridge.
Police said a red minivan and a compact car collided. Ruby Martinez, 25, who was a passenger in the compact car, attempted to walk across Loop 410 and was hit by a pickup truck.
Martinez was killed in the accident.
The driver of the pickup stayed at the scene after the accident.
Officers said alcohol was a likely factor in the accident.
The police are investigating the crash.
