Rudy Phillip Alexander Villanueva Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on I-10

San Antonio, Texas (October 14, 2019) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident Sunday morning in San Antonio, according to the police.

The accident happened just before 6:00 a.m. October 13, on I-10.

Police said a 2002 Green Ford Explorer was heading eastbound when it hit Rudy Phillip Alexander Villanueva, 30, who was not in an area designated for pedestrian traffic.

Villanueva was wearing dark clothing in a dimly lit area. He was taken to University Hospital where he later died.

The SUV driver stayed at the scene after the accident and cooperated with the authorities.

An investigation is underway.
