Sam Houston High School Injured in Houston Pedestrian Accident at Dollar Store Irvington Boulevard

Houston, Texas (May 1, 2023) – A Sam Houston High School student was injured after being struck by a vehicle in north Houston on Monday morning, according to Houston police.

The crash happened at around 8:00 a.m. at a Family Dollar Store near Irvington Boulevard.

Reportedly, the child was walking to the building when they were hit by a vehicle whose driver fled the scene.

The condition of the student was not immediately disclosed.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
