Sandra Martinez Killed in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Gibbs Sprawl Road near Woodlake Parkway

San Antonio, Texas – The 35-year-old woman who was killed Friday night in a head-on collision in San Antonio’s Northeast Side has been identified as Sandra Martinez, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The fatal crash happened around 8:30 p.m., February 2, on Gibbs Sprawl Road near Woodlake Parkway.

Police said Martinez was driving a sedan southwest when she veered into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into an SUV.

The impact pushed the sedan onto the embankment near the railroad tracks.

Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene. 

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
