Mark Coley Davis Killed in Austin Bicycle Accident on E. Koenig Lane

Austin, Texas (February 13, 2020) – A man was killed in a bicycle accident last week Friday in Austin, according to police.

The deadly accident happened on February 5, in the 900 block of westbound E. Koenig Lane.

According to a preliminary investigation, Mark Coley Davis, 57, was riding a bicycle in the one-way street when he was struck by a 2008 Ford Expedition, which was traveling in the left westbound lane.

Davis was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas, where he later died.

The Ford driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
