At Least 1 Injured in Crash on Interstate 35 in Temple

At Least One Hospitalized after Interstate 35 Accident in Temple

Temple, (November 25, 2022) – At least one person was hospitalized after a crash involving an 18-wheeler in Temple on Thanksgiving Day, according to the Temple Police Department.

The Temple Police Department said the wreck took place on southbound Interstate 35 near Industrial Boulevard and Nugent Avenue.

A car lost control on the interstate and struck an 18-wheeler that was parked on the side of the road.

The driver of the car sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital. A passenger in the car and the driver of the 18-wheeler were not injured in the crash.

No additional information about the accident was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
