SAPD Officer and 49-Year-Old Woman Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Castroville Road at S. San Eduardo

San Antonio, Texas (August 23, 2020) – A seven-year SAPD veteran and a 49-year-old woman were injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday evening in San Antonio’s West Side, according to police.

The crash happened on August 21, at the intersection of Castroville Road and S. San Eduardo.

Police said the officer was driving westbound on Castroville Road when she was hit by a white vehicle that pulled out from S. San Eduardo, trying to head eastbound.

The officer and the female driver of the white car were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
