At Least 5 Injured in Abilene Crash at S 1st Street and Sayles Boulevard 

Abilene, Texas (November 4, 2023) – Several People were injured in an alleged DUI crash on Friday afternoon at an intersection in Abilene, police said

The crash occurred at around 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 3 near the intersection of S 1st Street and Sayles Boulevard

According to the police, a suspect drunk driver crashed into the back end of a vehicle in from of him, causing a chain reaction collision

Three vehicles were stalled on the street after  the crash, and the fourth was able to pull into a nearby parking lot

At least five patients,  including the suspected drunk driver, were taken o the hospital with unspecified injuries. Their current conditions are unknown

The crash remains under investigation.
