Man Killed in SW Houston Pedestrian Accident on Kirkwood Road near High Star Drive

Houston, Texas (April 11, 2022) – A man was fatally hit by a vehicle Sunday night in southwest Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened shortly before 10:30 p.m., April 10, on Kirkwood Road, just south of High Star Drive.

Police said the man was crossing the street, outside of a crosswalk, when he was hit by a pickup truck occupied by a man and his family.

The victim was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

The driver stayed at the scene after the accident.

The police are conducting the investigation.
