Six Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 159 in South Brazos County

4 Children, 2 Adults Hospitalized After South Brazos County Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 159

Brazos County, Texas (May 22, 2020) – According to troopers, six people, four children, and two adults were injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday morning in south Brazos County.

The crash happened around 8:00 a.m. on FM 159.

DPS troopers said a Toyota pickup truck ran a stop sign on FM 159 and collided with a Chevrolet Trailblazer.

The driver of the Toyota was taken by a private vehicle to CHI St. Joseph Health for evaluation.

All five people in the Trailblazer were taken by ambulance to Baylor Scott & White Health with minor injuries.

The Toyota driver was issued a citation for failure to yield right-of-way at a stop sign.

The crash remains under investigation.
