Susan Ware and Earl Ware Killed in Orange Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 10

Orange, Texas (October 9, 2023) – Two people were killed Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Orange, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 3:40 p.m., October 7, on Interstate 10, near mile marker 875.

DPS said a 2019 Nissan Rogue was traveling eastbound on the interstate when it rear-ended a UPS commercial motor vehicle towing a trailer.

The Nissan driver, Susan McKnight Ware, 65, and the passenger, Earl David Ware, 76, of both of Porter, were pronounced dead at the scene.

No other information was available.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
