Tara Marsh Killed, 3 Injured in Oldham County Two-Vehicle Crash on RM 1061

Oldham County, Texas (December 29, 2019) – One person was killed, and three others were injured in a head-on collision Friday morning in Oldham County, a local news source reported.

The fatal crash happened around 11:30 a.m., December 27, on RM 1061.

DPS said a Toyota Camry was heading westbound while a Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling eastbound.

The Camry was traveling through a curve on the wrong side of the road when it crashed head-on into the Jeep.

The impact caused both vehicles to end up in ditches on opposite sides of the road.

A passenger in the Jeep, 38-year-old Tara Marsh of Oklahoma, was taken to the hospital where she later died.

Three other people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
