Texas DPS Trooper Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident at Mile Post 55 on S-35

San Antonio, Texas (August 10, 2023) – According to officials, a Texas DPS trooper was injured Wednesday evening in a pedestrian accident in San Antonio.

The accident happened around 6:50 p.m., August 9, at Mile Post 55 on S-35.

Officials said the trooper was struck by a Ford F-150 with California license plates. He was airlifted to University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No additional information was available.

An investigation is underway.
