Tiffany Birdsong-Hatnot Injured in Coverse Crash at Gibbs Sprawl Road (FM 1976) and Janice Drive
Coverse, Texas (March 8, 2019) – One person was injured last week Friday afternoon in a traffic accident in Coverse, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
The crash took place just after 3:30 p.m. Friday, March 1 at the intersection of Gibbs Sprawl Road (FM 1976) and Janice Drive.
Authorities said Tiffany Birdsong-Hatnot, 40, was driving a Ford Fusion on eastbound lanes of Gibbs Sprawl. As traffic slowed, a Hyundai Sonata reportedly failed to do so and rear-ended a Sonata, which was then pushed into a GMC Yukon.
Birdsong-Hatnot was taken to Northeast Methodist Hospital in unknown condition.
No other injuries were reported.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
