Tito Bradshaw Killed in San Antonio Bicycle Accident on East Houston Street
San Antonio, Texas (April 2, 2019) – A bicyclist was killed in a suspected DUI crash on Monday in San Antonio, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at about 12:30 a.m. April 1, in the 1900 block of East Houston Street.
Police said Tito Harry Bradshaw, 35, was riding a bicycle when he was hit from behind by a Toyota Corolla driven by a 67-year-old woman.
Bradshaw, who owned the popular Bottom Bracket Bicycle Shop, was taken by the paramedics to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition with a serious head injury where he later died.
The Toyota driver was arrested on suspicion of intoxication assault. She said that she saw the bicyclist and his flashing light but could not avoid hitting him.
The police are investigating the crash.
