Tony Long Killed in Longview Motorcycle Accident at Eastman Road and Hawkins Parkway

Tony Long ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Longview Crash at Eastman Road and Hawkins Parkway

Longview, Texas (May 3, 2022) – Authorities have identified the motorcyclist who died Saturday evening following a traffic crash in Longview as Tony Long of Ore City.

The fatal crash happened at about 7:00 p.m. on April 30, at the intersection of North Eastman Road and East Hawkins Parkway.

Long was riding his motorcycle northbound on North Eastman Road when a Lexus Sports Utility vehicle made a left turn on a flashing yellow light, directly into the path of the motorcycle.

The motorcycle ultimately collided with the Lexus.

Long died at the scene.

The crash closed the northbound traffic on Eastman Road and all traffic on Hawkins Pkwy.

No other information was available.

The police are investigating the crash.
