Two Drivers Injured in East Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on N. Wayside

Houston, Texas (May 18, 2020) – Two people were injured Sunday night in a head-on collision in East Houston, according to police.

The crash happened shortly before midnight, May 17, in the 400 block of N. Wayside.

Police said a sedan was traveling northbound in the southbound side of the roadway when it crashed head-on into an oncoming sedan.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive.

Both sedans acquired major front-end damage.

The crash remains under investigation.
