Two Pedestrians Hospitalized after Hit-And-Run Crash on Capital of Texas Highway in Austin

Two Hurt in Austin Pedestrian Crash on Capital of Texas Highway

Austin, Texas (August 14, 2019) – Two pedestrians were struck and injured by a hit-and-run driver on Tuesday evening in Austin, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash happened at 2901 S. Capital of Texas Highway shortly after 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 13.

Authorities said two men were hit by a vehicle in the area for unknown reasons. The driver involved fled the scene after the crash.

The two victims were transported to St. David’s South with suspected serious injuries.

Authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident.
