Von Ormy Patrol Officer Injured in Bexar County Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35 near Loop 1604

Bexar County, Texas (July 9, 2023) – A Von Ormy patrol officer was injured Saturday afternoon in a rollover crash in Bexar County, according to the deputies.

The crash occurred around 12:35 p.m., July 8, on Interstate 35 South near Loop 1604 underneath the overpass.

Deputies said the patrol officer was responding to a motorcycle accident when she was involved in a rollover crash with several other cars.

The officer had to be cut out of her vehicle before being taken to the hospital.

No other information was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
