Walter Davis Identified as Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Crash on Alameda Road

Houston, Texas (May 25, 2019) – The man who was fatally hit by a vehicle on Friday night in Southeast Houston has been identified as Walter Davis Jr., 45, according to a local news source.
The crash took place at around 10:45 p.m. Friday, May 24, on Alameda Road.
Investigators said Davis was attempting to cross Alameda Road when he was hit by a vehicle.
Davis died at the scene of the crash.
Police arrested the driver involved on suspicion of DUI.
The collision remained under investigation.
