John Abughazaleh Injured in Missouri City Hit-and-Run on Trammel Fresno Road near Highway 6

Missouri City, Texas (November 25, 2023) – The cyclist who was injured earlier this month in a hit-and-run accident in Missouri City has been identified as John Abughazaleh, according to the authorities.

The accident happened on November 4, on Trammel Fresno Road near Highway 6.

Authorities said Abughazaleh was riding through Fort Bend County with friends when a speeding white SUV ran a red light and hit him.

The vehicle fled the scene after the crash.

Abughazaleh was taken to the hospital. He is now in a wheelchair, facing a long road to recovery with a broken pelvis and a dislocated shoulder.

The authorities are still looking for the hit-and-run driver.

Abughazaleh’s family is asking anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
