Harris County, Texas (February 28, 2021) – A man and a 13-year-old boy were killed in a three-vehicle crash Saturday evening in north Harris County, according to deputies.

The fatal crash occurred on February 27, in the 14700 block of the North Freeway at Airtex.

Authorities said a Chevrolet Altima was traveling northbound on the frontage road when it crashed into a Nissan Murano SUV that was heading eastbound on Airtex.

The Murano then struck a light pole at the intersection while the Altima struck a parked Nissan Maxima.

A 13-year-old boy, who was a passenger in the Murano, was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

A man who was also a passenger in the Murano was also killed in the crash.

The Altima driver was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The authorities are investigating the crash.

“When a person has suffered a grave personal injury in an accident due to someone else’s negligence, the most overwhelming emotion they feel is a sense of injustice. They often ask how such a life-altering event could have happened to them,” attorney Joel A. Gordon said. “The next question usually is, who can help me?” Mr. Gordon added.

A legal advocate can represent an injury victim or the family of a deceased victim. The attorney will file a claim on behalf of the victim and will have the responsibility of citing existing codes, laws or statutes which were violated.
