Willie Charles Johnson Killed in Orange Three-Vehicle Crash at Strickland Drive and Edgar Brown Drive

Orange, Texas (July 28, 2020) – A man was killed in a three-vehicle crash Monday night in Orange, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 8:08 p.m. on July 27, at the intersection of Strickland Drive and Edgar Brown Drive.

Police said Willie Charles Johnson, 50, was driving a red 2018 Hyundai Elantra eastbound on Edgar Brown Drive when he had a medical emergency and crashed into a gray 2013 Dodge Charger and a silver 2020 Jeep Gladiator, that were stopped at a red light facing eastbound.

Johnson was declared dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
