Woman Injured in Houston Truck Crash on Eastex Freeway
Houston, Texas (January 4, 2019) – A woman was hospitalized Tuesday morning following a traffic crash in Houston, authorities said.
The accident happened shortly before 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 1 on the Eastex Freeway.
According to the authorities, the woman was driving on southbound lanes of the freeway when for an unknown reason her SUV  rear-ended a tractor-trailer.
The woman sustained major injuries and was taken to a local area hospital, where she was later listed in stable condition. Her name has not been disclosed.
No other injuries were reported. The crash remains under investigation.
