Woman Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on North Sam Houston Parkway near Veterans Memorial

Houston, Texas (April 2, 2023) – A woman died after she was struck by a hit-and-run driver on Thursday night in Houston, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident happened at about 10:25 p.m. Thursday, March 30, in the 2700 block of the North Sam Houston Parkway west feeder road near Veterans Memorial.

As per the report, the woman was walking on the feeder when she was hit by a vehicle whose driver fled the scene.

The woman was transported to a local hospital, where she later died from her injuries. Her name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

Authorities are looking for the hit-and-run driver.

No other information was immediately provided.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
