Woman Injured in Bellmead Bicycle Accident on Interstate 35

Bellmead, Texas (April 26, 2019) – A vehicle struck and injured a female bicyclist in Bellmead on Wednesday evening, according to a police report.
The crash happened on the northbound I-35 access road around 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23.
According to the report, a woman was riding a bicycle on the access road when a truck hit her.
The victim, only identified as a 56-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the truck, a 33-year-old Waco man, was arrested on outstanding warrants.
The crash remained under investigation.
