Corinna Ann-Nadine Pope ID’d as Woman Killed in Coryell County Crash on Interstate 14 near Bell Tower Off-Ramp

Coryell County, Texas (November 18, 2022) – The woman who died on Thursday morning following a hit-and-run crash in Coryell County has been identified as Corinna Lee Ann-Nadine Pope, 30, of Lampasas, Texas

The deadly crash occurred at around 4:00 a.m. Thursday, November 17 on Interstate 14 near the Bell Tower exit.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a Dodge pickup was heading eastbound in the outside lane of Interstate14.

Pope was trying to cross the interstate and “failed to yield the right of way to the pickup. Pope’s vehicle was hit by the pickup.

The driver of the pickup, a 46-year-old Copperas Cove man, stopped to render aid.

Moments later, Pope’s vehicle was hit by another vehicle in the inside lane. That continued to drive eastbound.

Pope was pronounced dead at the scene at around at around 6:45 a.m.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information on the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to contact the police.
