Yolanda Reyes Killed in Car Crash at State Highway 21 and Cotton Gin Road in Hays County

60-Year-Old Yolanda Reyes Killed in Hays County Four-Vehicle Crash at State Highway 21 and Cotton Gin Road

Hays County, Texas (February 20, 2020) – A Texas State English lecturer was killed in a four-vehicle crash Monday morning in Hays County, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash occurred at about 6:55 a.m. February 17, at the intersection of State Highway 21 and Cotton Gin Road.

DPS said the crash involved four vehicles, including a dump truck.

Yolanda Reyes, 60, was declared dead at the scene. She was a lecturer in the Texas State College of Education’s Curriculum and Instruction department. She taught special education-focused curriculum.

No further details regarding the crash were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
