One Seriously Injured in Wise County Motorcycle Crash on FM 718 at CR 4850

Wise County, Texas (September 27, 2020) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a traffic collision Saturday morning in Wise County, a local news source reported.

The crash occurred just after 8:00 a.m., on September 26, in the area of FM 718 and CR 4850.

Authorities said an SUV was turning left onto FM 718 from CR 4850 and was in the middle turn lane of FM 718 when it was hit by a motorcycle that was traveling at a high rate of speed.

The motorcyclist was airlifted to JPS with critical injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
